Not only is it SUPER Tuesday, but Stanley requests to be an official member of BEC!!

A Wicked evening!

Is it true? Is it finally happening? After months and months AND months of Becca and Chels trying to win tickets to Wicked, is it finally happening?!!? YEP!! The girls scored an evening to Wicked compliments of Susan’s wicked eye! 50% off orchestra seats, it was a definite sign that BEC MUST put on their cutest outfits and head out to see the musical of the moment!

Our evening consisted of eating at the Bowery and walking over to see the most magical musical of them all. A great GREAT evening.

*Honorable mention goes to the burgers and the chocolate mousse at the Bowery. Delicious!

It started off as a great idea. DineLA! A prix-fixe menu for a normally high-charging restaurant. We can round up the group and have a great meal…

*sigh*

We were wrong. Turned out Chaya Venice was a horrible idea. Horrible service. Mediocre food and assurance we would never eat there again. First time BEC strikes out.  

Vito’s Pizza

BEC (minus Chels and Richard) planned an exciting night of food and music. First, it was off to Vito’s Pizza for some very large pies. Then, we headed to the Troubadour to watch the cutesy band, Au Revoir Simone perform. A fun musical evening for BEC!

India’s Oven- Take 2

It was supposed to be an evening of great food and bowling, but our evening came to a turn when the boys invaded our evening.

Dinner was eaten at the always delicious, India’s Oven, and the boys quickly turned our evening of bowling into watching the anticipated movie, Cloverfield. Needless to say, the girls opted for 27 dresses (with the exception of Becca) and our looong evening was treated to great food and his and hers movies. Despite watching the 12:30 movie showing, it was a great evening!

road trip!!!

 January 11-13, 2008

It was our first road trip and what better place to go than Big Bear! A fun-filled weekend of snow, food and board games. It was an amazing weekend of fun and we can’t wait for our next trip!!

P.S. Hopefully Stanley will be able to make our next trip!!

I think it was unanimous, we all truly loved LOVED Joe’s. A Saturday morning after a long workout, we decided to head over to Joe’s Restaurant for brunch on Abbot Kinney. BEST decision over. An amazing brunch (which was completely reasonable) and delicious food! YUM!! A great great day for BEC!
